Glen moved to the territory in 1972 and started his apprenticeship in 1980, By 1984 Glen was driving trucks as a part of a water drilling crew in Central Arnhem Land. In 1994 Glen started his new position as the Senior Vehicle standards Officer for East Arnhem Land and as part of his duties conducted during assessments for every class of vehicle from motorbikes to road trains. In 1997 Glen left the government and started PALMERSON DRIVING SCHOOL and TERRITORY TRANSPORT TRAINING.
Glen is known throughout the territory as a very experienced and patient driving instructor who in the past 25 years has helped thousands of people become safe competent truck drivers and helped even more young Territorians obtain their car license.
